Box Score Boston, MA---Harvard bolted out to an early and never looked back in posting a 76-44 win over Howard University in a non-conference men's basketball game.
?The Crimson (3-0) used the balanced scoring of its starting unit, which combined for 30 of the team's 37 first half points en route to a 37-19 halftime advantage. Howard (2-2) got 10 points from freshman
James Daniel and four points from
Prince Okoroh, but little else. Harvard limited the Bison to 27 percent (6 of 22) from the field.
?The Crimson did not shoot the ball well (35 percent) in the first 20 minutes, but they improved in the second stanza, shooting 52 percent from the field to cruise to the win.
?Daniel, who came into the game, averaging 22 points, led his team with 14 while Okoroh added 14.

Harvard got 14 from Kyle Casey, 12 from Wesley Saunders and 10 from Steve Moundou-Missi. The Crimson recorded 12 steals and eight blocked shots while holding the Bison to 0 for 10 from three-point range.
?The Bison did shoot well from the charity stripe at 78 percent.
