Nicholas Latham has been named the Associate AD for Operations.  Latham joins the Bison family after a six-year stint at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.  The St. Louis, Mo. native will be responsible for football operations, track and field operations.  He will also handle the athletic training, equipment and strength and conditioning.

Latham’s previous post was as the strength and conditioning coach at UAPB, working with all sports, but primarily with football and track and field. He oversaw and coordinated all usage of the weight room facility there.

From 2005-11, Latham served as UAPB’s assistant track coach, working with the  throwers. Under his direction, eight different field event athletes captured individual Southwestern Athletic Conference titles to go along with seven NCAA outdoor qualifiers.

Latham was a three-year football letterwinner at UAPB, and a two-time SWAC Weight Throw and Hammer Champion. Latham received his B.A. degree in Parks and Recreation from UAPB in 2003.
