In October 2025, Esi Atinkah joined the Howard University Sports Medicine staff where she will be responsible for the women’s basketball and men’s soccer teams.
Previously, she has worked seven years with the University of Alabama softball team (2018-25) and five years with the Northwestern State baseball team (2013-18).
She received her master's degree from Northwestern State University and her bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Alabama.
Esi chose athletic training to not only help athletes pursue their dreams, but to also help them grow as people.
She is excited to join the Bison family.
