Tony comes to Howard University in the fall of 2023 after spending two years club coaching in the Houston area working primarily with U12 swimmers. Before arriving back in Houston in 2021, Tony spent four years club coaching in Cincinnati, OH for the Mercy Health Sea Wolves. While in Cincinnati, he coached the high school as well as U12 groups.
Aside from competitive swimming at Mercy Health, Tony helped start an affordable swim lesson program for lower-income families in the Cincinnati area. Miller spent two seasons coaching high school in Cincinnati. While coaching, Tony spent three seasons (2017-2019) as an assistant coach at his alma mater Xavier University (OH). Primarily working with sprinters, the men went on to win two Big East Championships in 2019 and 2020.
Tony is originally from Missouri City, Texas, and graduated from Xavier University in 2017 with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in digital media.
