Howard University Athletics

In 2024, Joshua Smith joined the Howard University golf program as an assistant coach.

During the 2024-25 season, Paris Fieldings became the first Bison in program history to win NEC Women's Golfer of the Year and represent Howard in the NCAA Regionals as an individual. Additionally, four Bison received NEC Postseason Honors: Fieldings (All-NEC First Team); Marley Franklin (All-NEC First Team); Morgan Horrell (All-NEC Second Team) and Kendall Jackson (All-NEC First Team).

Smith played collegiate golf as a member of the Fayetteville State Broncos.
