Personal: Major is Biology with a concentration in Chemistry… Chose Howard University to be pushed academically while surrounded by other Black people aiming for high success; she believes Howard is the best co-ed HBCU academically and has produced many Black individuals who have gone on to effect change in the world, and she hopes to do the same one day… Hails from Allen, Texas… Her hobbies include serving as a worship leader at her home church and Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Howard, baking, and aspiring to become a forensic psychiatrist due to her interest in mental health… She would like to be mentored by Ryan Crouser, a three-time Olympic shot put champion, to learn about technique and staying calm during high-stakes competitions… She believes her dedication to always giving her all, no matter what else is happening in her personal life, makes her unique as an athlete… Her favorite professional sports team is the Chicago Sky… She thinks she resembles nobody in particular… She would like to be on the reality show Love Island… Pre-game playlist includes “DND” by Rema, “Beamer” by Rema, and “Won Da Mo” by Marvins.
