WASHINGTON (September 26, 2025) — Howard University men's swimming opened its new season with a fifth-place finish at the annual Potomac Relays, hosted by American University.
Overall, the Bison tallied 314 points with three top 3 finishes.
Seniors
Taj Benton (Baltimore) and
Daren Rodgers (Chicago) and junior
Mason Green (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) took second place in the 3x100 Fly Relay, clocking in at 2:31.25.

Kaleb James (Durham, N.C.) earned bronze in the 200 Free Relay, recording a 1:25.74 mark.

Aytron Moncur (Nassau, Bahamas) begin the meet with a third-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, producing a 1:33.06 time.
George Mason won the 2025 Potomac Relays, scoring 504 points, while Georgetown claimed runner up (426 points).
On Oct. 4, HU hosts Georgetown in the annual Battle at the Burr. First-race is slated for 2 p.m., inside Burr Gym Pool.
