NORFOLK, Va. (May 17, 2025) – Howard University women's track & field program won its fourth consecutive league title Saturday, winning the 2025 MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Outdoor Championship, held at Dick Price Stadium in Norfolk, Va., hosted by Norfolk State University (NSU).
Overall, the Bison tallied a new meet record, 292 points, in 21 events. As a result, Howard Director of Track & Field
David Oliver was named MEAC Outstanding Coach for the fourth straight year.
On Day Three, graduates
Kailei Collins (Houston) and
Marcia Sey (London, United Kingdom), senior
Tiffani-Rae Pittman (Bowie, Md.) and sophomore
Aiyana Gray-Williams (Winston-Salem, N.C.) opened the track events, winning the 4x100 relay with a 44.15 mark.
Individually, Sey claimed first place in the 100-meter hurdles (12.84) while Collins took gold in the 100-meter dash (11.28).
Senior
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) earned first in the 5K race, running 19:04.04.
Fellow classmate
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) finished first in the 800-meter run (2:06.96) and 1500-meter race (4:28.56), a new personal best.
Junior
Kiya Lawson (Montclair, N.J.) won a pair of races in the 200-meter dash (22.87) and 400-meter dash (53.75).
Graduate
Ariana Smith (Pennsville, N.J.), junior
Aniya Woodruff (Harrisburg, N.C.) and freshman
Cenaiya Billups (Denver) swept the 400-meter hurdles, registering times of 56.11 (personal best), 57.24 and 58.24, respectively.

Lindsay Johnson (Detroit) capped off the weekend with a victory in the 4x400 relay (3:36.20).
Juniors
Kelis Armstrong (Winston-Salem, N.C.),
Jazmyn Wajd (Tampa, Fla.) and
Ija Mumford (Winston-Salem, N.C.) dominated the triple jump, placing first (12.76 meters), second (12.66 meters) and third (12.49 meters), respectively.
NSU finished runner-up with 189 points, followed by Morgan State (74 points).
On May 28-31, several Bison travel to Jacksonville, Fla., for the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds.
