BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (November 25, 2025) – The NEC uncovered its swimming & diving weekly awards where Howard University saw six Bison take home accolades. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.
Juniors
Mason Green (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and
Chanice Posada (Houston) headlined the week, winning Swimmers of the Week, respectively. The Florida product registered an NEC-best and CSCAA A qualifying time of 22.00 in the 50 Fly while Posada posted a NEC-best and CSCAA B qualifying times in the 100 and 200 Back.
Junior
Jala Wilson (Richmond, Va.) and newcomer
Dillon Craig (Atlanta) won the league's Divers of the Week, respectively. At the H2ounds Invitational, Wilson scored 202.10 in the 1-meter dive while the Atlanta native produced a 222.80 in the same event.
Freshmen
Solomon Goins (Dallas) and
Zenya Posada (Norwalk, Conn.) rounded out the awards, claiming the conference's Rookies of the Week, respectively. Goins registered CSCAA B qualifying times in the 200 Fly and 400 IM at the H2ounds Invitational while Posada posted a CSCAA A qualifying time for the 50 Back in Baltimore.
All six Bison were named to the NEC Prime Performers list.
Le Moyne's Lucas Clay shared NEC Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week with Green and teammate Adam Kaszovitz shared Men's Co-Diver of the Week with Craig.
On Dec. 3-6, HU goes to Austin, Texas for the Toyota US Open.
