GREENWOOD, Ind. (January 7, 2025) – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Committee revealed its 2024 Football All-District Team where Howard University senior linebacker
Terrance Hollon (Cleveland) made the squad. The announcement came Tuesday.
In his collegiate career, Hollon has excelled on and off the gridiron.
Hollon earned a spot on the All-MEAC Second Team in his final season, racking up 77 total tackles (35 solos), four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. The Cleveland native finished his collegiate career with 236 total tackles (135 solos), 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two pass breakups and an interception.
Off the field, Hollon has received several academic honors, including MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Football All-Academic Team, FCS Academic All-Star Team and Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar First Team. The health science major holds an impressive 3.90 grade-point-average (GPA) with plans to study physical therapy as a postgraduate student.
He was named a finalist for the 2024 William V. Campbell Trophy while recently invited to the 2025 HBCU Legacy Bowl.
The 2024 Academic Football team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
