WASHINGTON (May 30, 2024) – Howard University football saw a pair of schedule changes Thursday with both contests being televised to a national audience.
HU's season opener at Rutgers has been moved to Thursday (Aug.29), live on the Big Ten Network. Kickoff at 6 p.m., inside SHI Stadium. The nonconference bout was originally scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 31).
In November, the Bison square off against rival North Carolina Central under the Friday night lights (Nov. 15) in Durham, N.C. The action starts at 8 p.m., broadcasted on ESPNU. The two MEAC titans were initially slated for Saturday (Nov. 16).
The 2024 Howard Football Season Tickets package is available now, including a ticket to the 2024 Truth & Service Classic versus rival Hampton (Sept. 21), reserved seating at every home game, priority and discounted parking, exclusive invitations to special events hosted by the Howard University Department of Athletics and priority purchasing opportunities for the Cricket Celebration Bowl in the event the Bison earn a second-straight berth in the game.
Howard enjoyed a 2023 campaign that saw the Bison win back-to-back Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships and earn the program's first bid to the Cricket Celebration Bowl.
