WASHINGTON (March 25, 2024) - Howard University football is set to host annual Blue-White Spring Game for Saturday, April 13 at 3 p.m.
The Blue-White Game, which comes at the conclusion of 15 spring practice sessions, offers fans the first opportunity to see the Bison in 2024. Admission is complimentary.
The event coincides with DMV Day, one of the busiest days of the year for Bison Football with a scavenger hunt, player panel and lunch planned for prospective student-athletes.
Howard enjoyed a 2023 campaign that saw the Bison win back-to-back Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Championships and earn the program's first bid to the Cricket Celebration Bowl.
Along the way, head coach
Larry Scott received numerous honors, including being named a finalist for the Eddie Robinson Award, which recognizes the top coach in FCS Football, earned HBCU Coach of the Year honors from the College Football Network and selected to coach in the East-West Shrine Bowl, the longest-running college all-star football game in the nation. Scott was also named as a head coach for the 2024 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl while eight Bison were selected to participate.

Kenny Gallop, Jr. (Portsmouth, Va.) was voted as the MEAC Defensive Player of the Year and recognized for the honor as part of the events surrounding the 65
th Annual National Football Foundation (NFF) Awards Dinner in Las Vegas. He also earned the 2023 Aeneas Williams Award given to the top defensive back in HBCU Division I college football.
