GREENSBORO, N.C. (November 10, 2024) – Howard University women's bowling team took part in the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Meet No. 1, hosted by No. 6 North Carolina A&T State (NCAT). The two-day event (Nov. 9-10) was held in Greensboro, N.C.
 
On Day One (Nov. 9), HU took down rival Norfolk State, 918-729, to earn its first conference win of the season.
 
Howard battled, but dropped the other three matchups on Day One against Morgan State, 927-932, Coppin State (CSU), 932-1,014, and No. 23 Delaware State, 825-908.
 
The following day (Nov. 10), HU face a pair of Top 20 opponents: NCAT and No. 16 Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). Howard lost both contests and fell to UAB, 873-960.
 
On Nov. 16-17, HU competes in the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational.
