Gwynn Oak, Md. (November 12, 2023) – Howard University women's bowling team competed in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Meet No. 1 where they grabbed a pair of wins.
 
HU opened the weekend with a narrow victory over UAB, 763-754.
 
After back-to-back losses to No. 23 Delaware State, 685-934, and No. 12 Maryland Eastern Shore, 782-853, Howard closed out Day 1 knocking off No. 25 Morgan State, 931-905.
 
Howard dropped all four Baker matches the following day, including a loss to No. 4 North Carolina A&T State, 737-939.
 
Currently, the Bison sit in seventh place. MEAC Meet No. 2 is scheduled for Feb. 17-18 in Norfolk, Va., hosted by the Spartans.
 
HU wraps up the 2023 portion at the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational (Nov. 18-19), hosted by Coppin State.
