WASHINGTON (October 27, 2023) – Howard University men's swimming & diving dominated crosstown rival American, 130-88, inside Burr Pool Gym.
With the victory, HU has won back-to-back duel meet for the first time this season.
Senior
Tristan Stevens (Chicago) led the Bison with three first-place finishes, including a victory in the 200 Back (1:56.41).

Arion Solomon (Fairburn, Ga.) and sophomore
Taj Benton (Baltimore), opened Friday with a victory in the 200 Medley Relay, clocking in at 1:32.51.
Individually, Benton placed first in the 200 Fly with a 1:55.94 time.
Solomon, Stevens, senior
Spencer Miles (Lynchburg, Va.) and newcomer
Mason Green (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) closed out the night with a win in the 200 Free Relay, producing a 1:24.41 mark.
Green and Miles earned gold in the 200 Free (1:43.48) and 100 Free (47.25), respectively.
Other notable performance included graduate
Luke-Kennedy Thompson (Nassau, Bahamas) winning 200 IM, producing a 1:58.01 mark.
On the board, third-year Bison
Jordan Walker (San Antonio) claimed victory in the 1-meter dive with a score of 252.85.
Overall, the Bison earned eight first-place finishes.
On Nov. 11, Howard goes to Lexington, Va., for a quad meet, hosted by the VMI Keydets. First race is scheduled for 1 p.m.
