NEW CASTLE, Del. (October 14, 2023) – Howard University women's bowling team opened the new season at the annual Bud Whitman Memorial Invitational (Oct. 14-15), hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
 
Saturday (Oct. 14), HU went 1-4 with the lone win coming against Adelphi, 856-801.
 
In traditional play, All-MEAC selection Cameren Sullivan (Chicago) led the Bison, averaging 172.6 per match, including a 194 in the victory over Adelphi.
 
Howard was unable to get into a rhythm the following day (Oct. 15), dropping all three baker matches.
 
On Nov. 3-5, Howard travels to Richmond, Va., for the Virginia Union Invitational, hosted by the Panthers.
