BALTIMORE (November 20, 2022) – Howard University freshman standout
Cameren Sullivan (Chicago) led the women's bowling team with an All-Tournament performance at the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational, hosted by Coppin State in Baltimore.
In five traditional matches, the Chicago native averaged 182.8, including a pair of 200 games against Wagner College and Kutztown. Despite her efforts, HU dropped all five traditional contests.
HU opened the tournament with two victories over Virginia State (867-496) and CSU (827-826) in Baker matches.
In a best-of-seven Baker round, Howard topped Wagner in five (4-1), but fell to rival Norfolk State in seven (4-3).
CSU won the event, defeating Bloomfield College in seven (4-3). Coppin State's Kaylah Castillo took home the individual medal after averaging a 202.8 in five traditional matches.
On Jan. 28-29, HU returns to the lanes for the Hawk Challenge, hosted by Monmouth University in North Brunswick, N.J.
