Smyrna, Del. (October 15, 2021) – Howard University men's cross country won the 2021 Delaware State University (DSU) Farm Invite, hosted by the Hornets.
HU had four Bison finish in the top 10, led by senior
Ayoade Adebiyi (Virginia Beach, Va.) winning the event with a 27:29.40 mark.
Fellow classmate and Delaware native
Gavin Williams (Dover) returned home where he finished runner up, clocking in at 28:22.60.
Newcomers
Julian Lawson (Sewell, N.J.) and
Cameron Kennedy (Austin, Texas) claimed third (29:15.00) and fourth (29:15.10), respectively.
Rookies
Tafari Stephenson (Bowie, Md.) and
Marsellis Davis (Columbus, Ohio) rounded out the top 15, placing 11
th (31:40.80) and 12
th (31:44.50), respectively.
DSU finished runner-up, followed by Coppin State.
On Oct. 29, Howard travels to Cary, N.C., for the 2021 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships.
