CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 22, 2019) – The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) revealed its weekly honors where Howard University's freshman Miles Simon (Atlanta) took home men's swimmer of the week. The announcement came Tuesday afternoon.
 
At Chowan (Oct. 19), Simon had solid performances in Howard's road win over the Hawks. Individually, he won the 200 Free with a 2:01.40 time in short course meters (SCM). The Atlanta native was also a member of the winning 200 Free Relay squad where he competed in the first leg, clocking in at 23.50 (SCM).
 
On the women's side, Campbell's Sarah Wilson earned CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week.
 
Saturday (Oct. 26), Howard returns to The Hilltop where they will begin a three-meet home stand against Mary Washington. Meet time is slated for 1 p.m. inside Burr Gym Pool.
