GETTYSBURG, Pa. (October 13, 2018) – Howard University Men's & Women's Cross Country teams took part in the 30
th annual Gettysburg Invitational.
Senior
Tariq Fullerton (Kingston, Jamaica) and sophomore
Destiny Stanford (Woolwhich Township, N.J.) led the way for HU.
Fullerton posted a 27:50.5 mark in the men's 8K race while Stanford registered a top 20 finish, recording a 23:49.0 time in the women's 6K event.

Jade Hardy (Oakland, Calif.), junior
Sydney Benson (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) and newcomers
Aariq Nixon (Baltimore) and
Melanie White (Orlando, Fla.) each ran a season best.

On Oct. 27, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host the 2018 Men's & Women's Cross Country Championships at the Delaware State University (DSU) Outreach and Research Center in Smyrna, Del.
