WASHINGTON (January 27, 2018) – Howard University Men's Swim team fell in its regular season finale at Catholic, 187-107.
Freshman
Darrin Asphall and
William Smith led the Bison in multiple victories. Asphall won the men's 500 (4:47.32) and 1000 (9:51.59) freestyles while Smith earned the top spot in the 100 (1:00.47) and 200 (2:16.54) breaststrokes.

Don Brazelton and
Maalik Nixon opened the day with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay.
Individually, Brazelton won the men's 100-yard backstroke (54.00) whereas Barnes took home the 100 butterfly crown (53.33).
On Feb. 14-17, both squads travel to Athens, Ga., for the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships.
