Ron Davis and the Howard University Women's Bowling team found themselves in fourth place after day one of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division Meet No. 2; however, the Bison were unable to make up ground.
Overall, HU went 2-6 over the weekend after going 1-3 on Sunday (Dec. 3) in Baker matches.
Howard began the day against Morgan State where they lost in five, (146-183; 111-193; 176-170; 139-192; 157-181). Then, the Bison rebounded and defeated Coppin State five games (202-147; 172-176; 169-146; 181-170; 170-138).
HU battled, but came up short against Delaware State (127-161; 151-175; 171-211; 177-173; 178-211). Howard ended the weekend with a loss versus Maryland Eastern Shore in five (181-191; 156-191; 178-177; 149-195; 200-150).
HU returns to the lanes Jan. 19-21 at the Kutztown Invitational, hosted by Kutztown University.
