Ron Davis and the Howard University Women's Bowling team went 1-4 in traditional matches at the KU Bud Whitman Invitational in Reading, Pa.
Sophomore
T'ea Lewis led the way, averaging 186.40 in five traditional matches. The Virginia native recorded three 200-games, including a 206 against St. Francis (Pa.).
Howard dropped its Sunday opener against No. 16 LIU-Brooklyn, 939-822.
HU met the Red Flash in consecutive matches. SFU won the first matchup, 1,085-753, then followed up with a 926-897 victory.
Howard came up short versus Medaille, 927-813, but finished the weekend with a 807-747 victory over Robert Wesleyan.
Senior
Kristyn Mitchell rolled a 182.00 in five traditional matches, including 206 versus the Red Flash.
HU returns to the lanes Nov. 3-5 at the Fairleigh Dickinson (FDU) New Jersey Jamboree in Stratford, N.J.
