TEANECK, NJ – The Howard women's bowling team wrapped up its second weekend in action at the Fairleigh Dickinson Jamboree.
The squad went 2-3 in Baker matches to start the tournament on Friday. The Bison bested Lincoln Memorial, 827-813, before defeating Youngstown, 817-778.
Howard was 0-4 in the traditional matches on Saturday afternoon.
Justice Davis led the charge with 823 pins. She had a 164.6 pinfall and bowled a 194 against Sam Houston State.
Sydney Reece and Trinity Yates finished the day with 675 and 648 pins, respectively. Reece bowled at least 190 twice and had a high-game of 192. Yates rolled at least 180 two times over the weekend.
Rookie Kaie Jarvis had a career day with 295 pins and a 147.5 average. She knocked down 165 pins against Kutztown.
The Bison will partake in the first MEAC tournament of the season on Saturday, Nov. 12, hosted by Coppin State.
