RESULTSWASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard swimming & diving programs, led by second-year coach Nic Askew, opened the 2015-16 campaign with a home dual meet against local opponent George Washington University.
While both Bison teams were defeated overall (men: 137-58; women: 140-55), there were many strong individual performances to suggest the teams will continue moving in the right direction all season:
HIGHLIGHTS- Junior
TJ Miller: two first place finishes - 50 Yard Freestyle (21.76) and 100 Yard Backstroke (52.50)
- Freshman
Alexander Barnes: took first in the 100 Yard Fly (52.49)
- Second place finishes in 12 of 22 total events (eight women's, four men's)
