Toree Boyd and
John Fleck were named the Offensive Lineman and Special Teams Player of the Week, respectively, by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) on Monday.
A 6-4, 310-pound sophomore from Miami, FL, Boyd earned his honor after helping the Bison gain 437 yards of total offense in a 38-25 loss at Rutgers this past Saturday. Boyd, a preseason F
irst Team All-MEAC selection, graded out at 98 percent on all blocking assignments while paving the way for Howard to gain 296 yards rushing. He was also credited with four pancake blocks.
Fleck, a 6-2, 200-pound junior from Indianapolis, IN, averaged almost 45 yards on four punts with one landing inside the Scarlet Knights' 20-yard line. His four kicks averaged 61.5 yards and included three touchbacks.
