Howard v. Adelphi
WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – For their second victory of the season and second victory at home, the Howard University men's soccer team defeated Adelphi on Sunday, Oct. 21 at Greene Stadium on the HU campus.
At the 20:39 mark, Bison midfielder Mario Martin drove for five yards, pulled the Adelphi goalkeeper and scored an unassisted goal. The game-winning goal was Martin's first goal of the season.
Howard goalkeeper Eric Hamilton finished the contest with five saves. Collectively, the Bison totaled fives shots and two corner kicks.
HU advances to 2-13-1 on the season, while Adelphi drops to 2-12.
