The Howard University men's soccer team has shown that they can achieve on and off the field. This year, four student-athletes were recognized by the ASC on its all-Academic team, and two members earned all-conference accolades.
Senior Gary Clark and junior Patrick Rose represented HU soccer on the ASC second team. In addition, they also achieved All-Academic accolades. Clark, a senior Mechanical Engineering major, maintains a 3.53 GPA, while Rose, a junior Management Info Systems major carries a 3.47 grade point average.
Along with Clark and Rose, Junior Kashmar Briscoe and Senior Christopher Sutherland were also recognized for their academic achievements. Briscoe, a junior Psychology major managed a 3.80 GPA. Senior Christopher Sutherland , a Sport Medicine major, successfully obtained a 3.68 grade point average.
The Bison ended its season with a 4-1 loss to NJIT in the ASC tournament, but will continue to work hard on and off the field during the off-season to rebuild the program.
