EVENT-BY-EVENT RESULTSFULL RESULTS PDFATHENS, GA --- The Howard swimming and diving program finished the final two days of the 2015 Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Championships with a flurry of outstanding performances and school records. Details of the teams' efforts are below:
DAY 3 -
Benta Horton-Gee's Backstroke time of 59.84, Leading off the Women's 400 Medley, is the 3rd Fastest time in HU Swimming History

Marissa Gentry's time of 1:01.79 in the 100 Backstroke is the 7th Fastest time in HU Swimming History

Danielle Brown's time of 59.23 in the 100 Butterfly is the 6th Fastest time in HU Swimming History and her time of 1:02.38 in the 100 Backstroke is the 8th Fastest time in HU Swimming History.
- The relay team of
Benta Horton-Gee,
Sydney Cooper, Danni Brown, and anchored by
Ayana Cox earned their place in HU Swimming history by posting the 5th Fastest time of all time at 4:08.42.
- Senior trio of
Trent Popovich,
Benjamin Skelding, and
Dexter Brown all performed well enough to return to the Finals Session earning the opportunity to compete only to better their prelim times and places.
- The relay team of
Benjamin Skelding,
Dexter Brown, Jared Miller, and anchored by
Trent Popovich set a New School Record in the 400 Medley relay with a time of 3:31.74
- Jared Miller was responsible for pulling of the Hat Trick, breaking 3 School Records in one day. Setting himself as the fastest man in HU Swimming history in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:40.51, the 100 Backstroke with a time of 50.02, and his contributions on the 400 Medley Relay.?

Yard Freestyle relay team of Jared Miller,
Benjamin Skelding,
Dexter Brown, and
Trent Popovich inked their way into HU Swimming history with the time of 3:10.95, placing them 4th Best All-Time.
- Jared Miller's 45.76 preliminary performance in the 100
Yard Freestyle not only earned him an opportunity to compete in the Finals Session, but also broke another HU Swimming School Record that has stood for over 5 years. Returning in the evening only to better that mark Breaking his own record set less than 8 hours prior with a time of 45.64.
Miller completed his Championship debut setting 3 new school records, and contributing to 1 new relay school record.
