DAY 1 RESULTSATHENS, GA --- On the first day of the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Championships, the Howard swimming programs put together a pair of solid performances.
The highlight of HU's first day in the championship pool in Athens, GA was the quartet of
Benjamin Skelding,
Dexter Brown, Jared Miller and
Trent Popovich earning the bronze in the Men's 200 Yard Medley Relay, edging out New Jersey Institute of Technology and Virginia Military Institute to post a third place time of 1:35.22.
On the women's side, the team of
Benta Horton-Gee,
Sydney Cooper,
Danielle Brown and
Ayana Cox finished 10th in the Women's 200 Yard Relay with a time of 1:54.28.
Howard will continue its run at the CCSAs on Thursday, February 19 beginning at 10 a.m.
